TD 0018 - Recent Effective Tariff Protection for Brazil

There have been various of commercial policy and effective tariff for Brazil (Bergsman, 1970); Bergsman and Malan, 1971; Bergsman, 1972; Tyler, 1976; Neuhaus and Lobato, 1978). All of these studies have used tariff rates to approximate the differences between domestic and international prices afforded by commercial policies.
